spiritual coaching

Life can be totally shitty, and we all—myself included—can get stuck in our pain.

The good news is that we don’t have to stay stuck—even if the reasons for the pain are intractable (chronic illness, racism, homophobia, misogyny, broken family systems, failed community resources, etc.). By quieting our minds, listening to the deep wisdom of the body and the soul, we can find our way toward practicing peace with ourselves within the fragility of human life.

We do this by welcoming the pain and working with it to create meaning—and meaning making with is what spirituality is all about.

My first job is to bear witness to your wounds. I want to see them and love them as they are. Then, I work to help you attend to them. Attend is such a lovely word: it means that together we are present to them to see what they might want to teach you so you can live more fully. I use lots of different modalities to help us attend, including Healing Touch (energy work similar to Reiki), Chakra reading and healing, meditative breath work with or without a gong, prayer, angel/Mother God messages (wisdom/intuition), Tarot and other healing oracles, body listening, and deep reflective listening.

My goal is to give you the tools to become more playful, elastic, curious, and open about the meaning you’ve already given the pain and joy of your life, so you can approach meaning-making with hope and love. My clients often find a new perspective because they see themselves and situations differently than they thought possible.

I truly believe that when we weave together new understandings and grace toward our life stories, we help make our little corner of the world more lovely and that in-turn reaches out and changes the course of the whole world. My work always centers communal justice as the ultimate purpose of our work together because we never heal in isolation.

“The universe brought me to Jacqueline at a pivotal point in my life, one in which I was still learning that it’s okay to ask for help. Throughout our time working together, I gained a better understanding of myself. Jacqueline gently guided me in an exploration of my trauma and pain, equipping me with the tools I needed at each stage in my journey. She helped me rediscover forgiveness, peace, and most importantly, a profound sense of hope.”
